Hinchingbrooke Country Park
The site is great for families, walkers and wildlife lovers. Families can picnic in the woods or out on the meadow while the children play on the trim trail, zip wire and slide. As well as the café the Visitors Centre has available a variety of information leaflets, maps and an educational display. Electric powered wheelchairs are available for use by less mobile visitors although it is recommended they are booked in advance. The park has a network of hard-surfaced paths which allow all year around access.
School groups, from primary to college age, are welcome and can benefit from one of the numerous set days on offer working with experienced teaching staff. Topics such as science, geography, mapping, tourism and art can be covered on an educational visit. Help can be offered to organize your own, independent visit. Guided walks can also be organized for visiting groups of any age.
