Houghton MillHoughton Mill

A large timber-built watermill on an island in the River Ouse with much of the mill machinery intact and some restored to working order. Milling demonstrations every Sun and Bank Hol. Art Gallery open Jun-Sep. Now with a working waterwheel and new interpretation area with hands on displays.
